Concrete is a composite material composed of coarse granular material embedded in a hard matrix of material that fills the space among the aggregate particles and glues them together. Concrete is a mixture of Cement, Coarse aggregate, and Fine aggregate.

Definition of special concretes:

Special concrete is defined as concrete which meets special performance and uniformity requirements that cannot always be achieved routinely by using only conventional materials and normal mixing, placing and curing practices. That can be achieved by adding admixtures to the concrete. By strength concrete should remain same as the normal concrete strength by adding the admixtures.
